They also told me about a turning point in their relationship. A few days after their graduation, Jim was going to go to a girl’s graduation party, which happened to be on the same day as Gloria’s. He was going to go to the other girl’s party instead of Gloria’s, but couldn’t find her house. Coincid entally, in his search for the girl’s house in town, he saw Gloria’s mom and she told him that he should go to Gloria’s party. He decided to go and according to him, this was the point in their relationship that they truly knew that they were going to stay together forever, and this when when their â€Å"courtship† began. Bonding: The bonding stage of a relationship occurs when â€Å"the parties make symbolic public gestures to show the world that their relationship exists† (Adler andShow MoreRelatedHow Does Communication Affect Relationships Change?1437 Words   |  6 Pagesthe positive, negative, or just different.
